Over the weekend I managed to go watch the so-called movie "Cloverfield". Now I must say when I first saw the trailer a while back I was interested in how the actually advertised it. They used what was an actual video camcorder, which was a first person view. The trailer showed what was a going away party and then suddenly a monster attacks and in the end you see the head of the statue of liberty being hurled down the street. Now this was interesting because they way they advertised it made viewers intrigued and actually want to see it. When I went to go see it I was expecting a movie where they show a third person view of it, but no, they actually kept with the whole first person camcorder view. They kept the story around a guy named rob Hawkins and his family and friends and how they went through the whole ordeal of a monster attacking New York City. You at first only see bits and pieces of the monster as would someone would actually see it in first person no such as a bird’s eye view. How they managed to film it was excellent and managed to use they camera angel as if it was a documented film left behind. The movie was suspenseful and actually drew you into the movie as if you were the person video taping everything. It was truly amazing how they managed to film this and still be able to get every little detail possible out of it. It is a great film to go see and see how if you were someone actually in a situation where a monster attacked and you were right smack down in the middle of it all.

Design of the Century: F22-A Raptor
The design that I believe is amazing is the F-22a Raptor fighter jet. This is truly an astonishing piece of work. This craft technology was made 4 years ahead of its time. It is a fifth generation model and hos been in production for 16 years. It is now the number one fighter/stealth plane used in the air force. It is a one-man fighter, with a maximum speed of mach 2 (2,132 km/h). It also carries enough ammunition (cannon and missiles) to take on an entire military base, or equivalent to 10 other fighters and 8 armored tanks. This aircraft was so popular that it was used in recent movies, such as Live Free or Die Hard and Transformers (Starscream). The F-22a is superior to all other fighter and stealth planes. Although this piece of machine is $117 million per craft, it is still the number one aircraft in the world. I admire the craftsman ship of it, especially the slick design and curvature of the craft, it is definitely a modern/futuristic design. I quite fancy the curvature of the wings and the jet engine and where the missiles are stored and how it opens up to launch the missiles. This is truly a remarkable design and have made an excellent fighting machine.

The World of Apple

Over the past century, technology has become increasingly advanced and innovative. First was the PC where it based it computing for business orientated individuals and over recent years customers wanted something that could be used for creative ideas and what not. Then apple was established and created Mac computers, which delegated design to those anticipating customers. Now, apple is a recognizable icon that still today offers their customers new and innovative products. They were able to take corner a large market that managed to be a great sale. They also managed to expand their spectrum not just to business people but also to the creative ones too. With new and innovative products such as the iPhone, iPod, and now the new Macbook air, they are able to keep on satisfying their customers. Who knows what they will come up with next? Some new wireless modem? A fantastic, slick flat screen? Or some fancy innovative watch? Only time will tell!

Beyond Reality
I was watching Smallville and Supernatural one day a while ago and during the commercials i saw a very interesting and intriguing one. It was the PlayStation 3 commercial and it was quite "unreal". It basically showed the system and it zoomed up to it and then the system began to expand and take the form of many different shapes. the whole commercial was about the power of the PlayStation 3 and the potential of what it could become. Also to me it is a type of locked box that holds greatness, and the controller is what could unlock it. I think that this is an amazing commercial. it shows PlayStation fans exactly what they are to expect from the system and shows how sophisticated it is, such as it being a Blu-Ray Player. To be honest the Wii is a great idea, it is innovative but its for children, it is for people who really don't get enough exercise and love sit around eat and play games all day. Now lets be honest, the XBox is basically a computer, and who in the right mind would buy one only to own the game halo, which is also on the PC. There really isn't a point to woning one especially with all the errors it is causing. The PS3 is the best system out there will keep up with the crazy games and incredible graphics.
Which side are you on?
Ok now I just want you to hear me out on this one. Now I know a lot of you know about transformers and that it was a TV show a long time ago and was just made into a movie recently. To be honest as soon as I found out that it was going to be a movie I jumped for joy. I was so happy and was waiting in anticipation. When the full trailer was released, I was literally in a phase of watching it almost twice a day. I believe that the trailer was so well done that it even made me want to go see the movie even more. Then when it came out in theaters I actually went to see it 3 times, once in the theater and twice in the Imax. When it finally came out on DVD I watched it end on end, probably over 20 times by now. I believe that the sound effects was what attracted me to the movie the most, they were so realistic, even down to the transformation of the robots. Also the movie used a lot of different cinematography, such as camera shots that seemed to pull you into the movie at eye level and pull back shot to get the thrilling animation sequences. Overall this movie has to be one of my favorite movies of all times and I just wanted to share with you the trailer that threw a nation by surprise and swept them off their feet.

Theres more to him than meets the eye!

Right now I am going to break down what I have observed and learned about my good friend Piotr. This exercise showed me the "hidden" messages in conversations and shows how important it is.
Auditory/Vocal
When Piotr speaks, he always speaks with confidence and you can hear and sense it in his tone. He always speaks the truth and is not afraid to speak his mind as well. His speaking qualities are also sarcastic when confronted with others, and when he feels it is necessary to break a serious tension.
Visual
In terms of his appearance he has a dark, angry look about him. He always has a serious facial expression and at times looks scary when he is not happy, but he always relaxed and looks like he will take on the world. He also manages to dress appropriately and wears mostly black, brown and white.
Tactile
When speaking to another person, he tends to use hand gestures to emphasize his messages. He also manages to move his body around when someone has made a joke and partially cover his mouth or shakes his head.
Olfactory
Piotr is always wearing some kind of cologne that is a pleasant scent and always has a pack of gum on him to that his breath is minty fresh!
I hope that you now see what i have come to observe over the course of 2 years, and that it will inspire all to look at others and not judge them by looking at them, but by observing them and understanding how they live.
